Mary Ann Glendon confirmed

A while back, several of us commented on the nomination of Professor Mary Ann Glendon to be the next Ambassador of the United States to the Holy See. On Wednesday, the Senate confirmed her nomination. I don't believe any date has yet been set for her to present her credentials, but I am sure many of us can join in a hearty and sincere round of congratulations!
